Looking for a boot that can handle resort terrain and backcountry tours without squeezing your foot to death? The Tecnica Cochise 100 Men's Ski Boot may be your horse, with a comfortable but high-performance 100mm last and a 100 flex that can cruise powder, trees, bumps, and steeps without batting an eyelash. The Cochise 100 is made with the same light but stiff Triax 2. 0 plastic as the other boots in the Cochise line, and it also features the same Cuff Mobility System ski/hike mode for backcountry and parking-lot adventures, along with a Power Lock power strap top buckle that makes it easy to cinch the cuff down tightly around your leg. The 100 flex makes the Cochise 100 easy to put on, but Tecnica was feeling generous so it hooked the boot up further with a Quick Insteap easy-entry system, which employs a piece of flexible plastic over the ankle to give you a wide cuff opening in any temperature. Perhaps the Cochise's biggest trick, though, is the interchangeable sole design, which lets you swap out the included DIN soles for tech soles (sold separately) , so you can make even shorter work of the skin track and make the Cochise a true one-boot quiver.
